Based on one of the most popular past models, the Emerald has been given so many improvements, it deserves to shine on its own! The classic wood combination of rosewood for sides and back and a solid Engelman spruce top immediately sound familiar. The traditionally sonorous sound of rosewood sounds much more modern in the Emerald, still giving off a loud, clear sound that will suit both fingerstyle players as strummers alike.
The latest developments and quality improvements have all been implemented in the Emerald: Satin finished neck for perfect playability, Tusq nut and saddle for improved overtones and richness in sound, ebony fingerboard and bridge for an even faster response and more presence. Gotoh made machine heads in the famous recessed machine heads,the best quality available. The new Fishman Flex Plus pickup has side-mounted controls for volume, treble and bass. The battery access is easily mounted in the lower bout.
The slightly wider neck is perfect for fingerstyle players and it still is comfortable for the strummer.
